PIVOS KNOCKED PLUGS OUT OF FIRST POSITION WITH THEIR SECOND WIN, YESTERDAY WITH THE PYLONS PERFORMANCE, THE ONLY THING THAT IS GUARANTEED IS FOURTH POSITION FOR THE PLAY-OFFS. HOSERS DESTROYED PLUGS (editors note, not sure that’s how I’d word it), THREE TEAMS HAVE A CHANCE TO GET THE PRESIDENT TROPHY, TODAY IS PILSEN URQUELL TOUR.
PIVOS 3
PYLONS 1
1-0 Howles A-Nelly Furtadi 2-0 Willy A-Howles 2-1 Gillbe A-Barry 3-1 Steed A-Mansfield
The match was tied most of the game with neither side giving an inch of the neutral zone. Some hits were thrown and some scores were settled. To quote Holly „It was a bit rough but they still smashed“.
Gillbe with the Pylons first goal, breaking a shutout streak, and getting past the surprise of actually getting a pass from Barry.
PLUGS 1
HOSERS 5
1-0 Beckett A-Jánský 1-1 R.I.P.T. A-Arnolt 1-2 R.I.P.T. A-Ribton-Tomeric 1-3 Wilson A-R.I.P.T., Ribton-Tomeric 1-4 Wilson A-R.I.P.T. 1-5 Ribton-Tomeric
What a come back. What can we say. After some interesting lighting distracted Amold (the lighting was weird though eh?) and an absolute laser flew past him that could have caused bodily harm had he got in the way. Seriously, we can’t say enough good things about this shot. Absolute hero.
Oh, yeah there were 5 goals. Most were pretty unremarkable, nothing much to talk about there, but Ribton-Tomeric finished up a beautiful passing play with an absolute snipe. Finally a hockey player that Douglas can be proud of. I can only assume that someone sabotaged Czech Dave’s pivos.
